October 2008	Two reports on the pre-season meal at Carluccio's, from Ernie Metcalfe and Alan Brown, who also writes on David Sterland's talk on the Chill Factore, and a slightly belated review of the Lakes walk from Nigel Koenen are included in this issue.
August / September 2008	The walk in the Arenig hills is reviewed by Norma Stockford and Vanessa Miller reports on the summer barbeque.
June / July 2008	Jane Dawson gets her BASI level 1 ski instructor qualification and Carol Sencicle thanks Derek Draper for hosting the End of Season Party.
March 2008	Ian Harford writes on his recent ski trip to Furano, Japan and Peter Clarke reports on the Club holiday to Meribel.
February 2008	Max Hall's talk on the Iditarod is covered by Elaine Donnelly. David Hodgkinson provides the main report on the Club trip to Val d'Isere while Tom Russell writes about his return to "skool" there. Ernie Metcalfe end up helping out and Derek Draper comments on the Club holidays in general.
January 2008	Alan Brown is elected to the SCGB council. Carol Sencicle reports on Harvey Hutchinson's Belfry talk and Norma Green on the Christmas Meal. J.Lionel Greenslade finds Sea and Snow in Dubai. John Wetherell covers morning and evening Club skiing at the Chill Factore and Ernie Metcalfe gives his first impressions of the slope.
