Ski Club of Manchester Membership Application


The Club arranges various activities to assist members to share their common interest in skiing as well as social and other events. Visit the other pages of our web site for details.

The Club has a Code of Conduct published here which all members are required to follow.

Members must be aware of the Club's Social Media Policy.

Individuals participating in Club activities are expected to judge for themselves whether or not the event and the prevailing conditions are suitable for them. No responsibility for any loss, injury or death, howsoever caused, is accepted by the Club, it's committee or those members organising the event. Children are not permitted on Club events unless accompanied and supervised by a parent or other adult accepting full responsibility for them.

Subscriptions are payable on joining the Club and thereafter annually on November 1st. Members joining between June 1st and October 31st pay their annual subscription from November 1st the following year.

If paying by standing order the subscription rates are as follows:

  • Individual adult £15.00
  • Family (two adults only) £27.00
  • Add £3.00 for one junior member (under 18 and parent is a member)
  • OR add £5.00 for two or more junior members (under 18 and parent is a member)

If paying by bank transfer the rates are:

  • Individual adult £18.00
  • Family (two adults only) £30.00
  • Add £3.00 for one junior member (under 18 and parent is a member)
  • OR add £5.00 for two or more junior members (under 18 and parent is a member)

Members of the Ski Club of Great Britain receive a discount of £8.00 on the above adult and family rates. If paying by standing order they pay no fee for the first year.

We provide digital membership cards which can be stored on a smartphone in an Apple or Google wallet. If your membership includes any juniors who don't have a smartphone their names will be listed on your other family card(s). You can request digital cards for them at any time.   • I/We hereby apply for membership of the Ski Club of Manchester and agree to be bound by its Constitution and Rules, copies of which are available from the Hon. Secretary and are linked to at the top of this page. These rules may, if agreed at an A.G.M. or E.G.M., be changed. The Club reserves the right to refuse an application.
  • I/We also agree to follow the Club's code of conduct when participating in Club activities.
