SUMMER BARBECUE - Saturday 14th August

We all had a thoroughly good time thanks to our hosts Alan and Caroline Brown who welcomed us to their lovely home and garden on a beautiful summer's evening.
The cooking was well underway on two barbecues (mostly and very ably done by Caroline!) when guests started to arrive. The salad buffet was looking great in the conservatory and there were plenty nibbles and drinks to keep us going whilst the meat sizzled.
24 of us attended and the whole evening was one of eating, drinking, good laughs, and terrific company. Certainly voted a success and we do hope this will become a regular event.
Thank you very much Alan and Caroline - definitely already looking forward to next year!
